Welcome to TurtleApps. These terms of service apply to your use of the TurtleApps platform (turtleapps.online). By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using TurtleApps, you agree to these terms of service and our privacy policy. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Account & Responsibilities

When creating and using an account, the following responsibilities apply:

You are responsible for all activities under your account
You provide truthful and current information during registration
You do not share your login credentials with third parties and keep them confidential
You report unauthorized use of your account to us immediately

3. Service description

TurtleApps is an AI-powered platform for software lifecycle management. Our service includes:

AI-driven code generation and review based on your ticket descriptions
Management of code repositories (managed or via GitHub integration)
Preview environments for testing changes
Deployment tools for rolling out to staging and production
Audit logging and project management for teams

4. Pricing & Payments

TurtleApps offers the following subscription plans:

Starter: Free — 1 project, 5 AI tickets per month, 1 user
Professional: €149/month — more projects, AI tickets, and team members
Business: €399/month — extended features for larger teams
Enterprise: Custom — unlimited usage, SLA, and dedicated support

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the next billing period. When upgrading, you get immediate access; when downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of the current period.

We reserve the right to adjust prices. Existing customers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of price changes.

5. Intellectual property

Your code is yours. All intellectual property rights to code that you develop, maintain, or upload via TurtleApps remain fully your property. TurtleApps claims no ownership rights to your code, projects, or creative output.

The TurtleApps platform, including the software, design, brand name, and documentation, is owned by TurtleApps and is protected by intellectual property rights. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

AI-generated code is delivered to you and you own the result. See section 6 for important disclaimers about AI-generated content.

6. AI-generated content

TurtleApps uses AI (Anthropic Claude) for code generation and review. It is important to understand the following:

AI-generated code is delivered as a suggestion — you are responsible for reviewing, testing, and approving it before deployment
We do not guarantee that AI-generated code is error-free, secure, or suitable for a specific purpose
Your ticket descriptions and code context are shared with Anthropic for processing, in accordance with our privacy policy
It is your responsibility to check AI-generated code for security issues, license compliance, and correctness before putting it into production

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the platform for:

Developing malware, viruses, or other harmful software
Infringing on the intellectual property rights of third parties
Storing or processing illegal content
Overloading or disrupting our infrastructure
Circumventing security measures or access controls
Reselling or redistributing our service without written permission

8. Service availability

We strive to keep TurtleApps available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service is provided on a 'best effort' basis.

Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. In case of unforeseen outages, we will do our best to restore the service as quickly as possible.

Enterprise customers can agree on a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with guaranteed uptime percentages and response times. Contact us for more information.

9. Liability

TurtleApps is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to TurtleApps in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time via the settings in your dashboard. After cancellation, you have 30 days to download your data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms, after a warning unless the violation is serious enough to warrant immediate action.

After termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy, except for data we are legally required to retain.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you can cancel your account.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. Before submitting a dispute to court, both parties will make an effort to reach an amicable solution.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely approximates the purpose of the original provision.
